Mount Raung Trekking Tour 4D/3N

Mount Raung Trekking is climbs the one of the most active volcanoes on East Java, located in the province of East Java and has a 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) wide caldera surrounded by a grayish rim. The difference in color of the rim and the flanks of the volcanoes is caused by the rim’s lack of vegetation compared with the healthy and extensive vegetation on the flanks. Raung, standing almost 3,332 metres (10,932 ft) above sea level, is the tallest volcano of this cluster. Although the valleys between the major volcanoes boast fertile, ash-enriched soil for agriculture, available land is very limited. Mount Raung contains centres constructed along a NE to SW line, with Mount Suket and Mount Gadung stratovolcanoes being located to the northeast and west,respectively.Mount Raung  is a unique and big mountain in Java Island. Mount Raung Trekking Tour itineraries is as follows:

Day 01 : Surabaya - Sumber Waringin  ( D )

by  air condition car in Surabaya International Airport or Train station  to be transfered to Sumber Waringin village and overnight at local homestay.
Day 02. Start Mount Raung Trekk (B,L,D) 

Breakfast and start  trekking until Demit Hut Camp, crossing  the Java virgin forest and  Overnight Day 03: Summit mount Raung – Sumber Waringin (B,L,D)
early morning trekking to mount Raung's Summit,enjiying the Big Crater with still smoke going up and descend down to village. Overnight at local homestay in Sumber Waringin.
Day 04: Sumber Waringin – Surabaya (B)
After having breakfast, drive back to Surabaya International Airport or to next destination.
